It's time to celebrate this years' pick for the Pennsylvania One Book, Every Young Child initiative, My Cousin Momo! We'll be holding this storytime on April 24th at two separate times! The first will meet at 11:15, and the second will happen at 3:30.
I am really excited about this years' chosen book because it's by one of my favorite children's illustrators, Zachariah Ohora! (Seriously, his illustrations are awesome. If you haven't read Stop Snoring, Bernard or Wolfie the Bunny I highly recommend checking-out both titles from the library!)
In My Cousin Momo, we'll follow Brother and Sister Squirrel as they meet their cousin Momo for the first time. They quickly learn that Momo doesn't quite do things the way everyone else does, and by the end of the book learn that trying something new can actually be more fun than doing the same things over and over again!
After our storytime, I have seven station activities for you and your children to complete at your own pace, and they are all related to the story!
If you have any questions, please feel free to talk to me at the library or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org!
